Get your desired bands on the first attempt

IELTS exams are generally a nightmare for students who dream of settling abroad.
But are they really difficult or just hype? Or does the pressure of performance weigh the students down?
Let me answer your questions – one by one. But first, let me tell you how I found myself in the middle of the field I had no plans to enter.
I started my IELTS journey sixteen years back. I never thought I would get an opportunity to share my incredible experience with hundreds of students, inspire and help them achieve their desired band. This aspect of my life has been the most fulfilling so far.
The reason for bugaboo is unfamiliarity with the culture of the foreign land the candidate aims to settle down to. However, having lived abroad for almost a decade, I have first-hand experience with the local cultures of several countries. This has further helped me develop a unique skill set to guide IELTS and Spoken English students thoroughly and correctly.
In addition, during the course of my journey, I have met hundreds of IELTS faculty members and attended various coaching classes, both as a student and faculty member. Being on both sides, I have seen the best and worst of this industry.
I am fortunate to help students all around the world. Some are in Russia, Belarus, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and the USA. Having tutored hundreds of students, I observed some of the most common challenges that deprived students of cracking the exam on the first attempt.
3 of the common challenges
3 unforeseen difficulties affecting student's exam performance.
So, Why Us?
We individualize our attention to each student, ensuring it clears their doubts before the test. It is essential to understand how English is written and why it is written in such a manner. This way of learning develops a better understanding of a foreign language.
Our teaching progresses steadily and with a flow that even beginners can easily follow.
Finding the right direction in your examination preparation is crucial in improving your ability in the IELTS test. Here’s how IELTS one-on-one or group coaching helps you understand the nitty-gritty of the exam and crack it in the first go.
Comprehensive practice
I do not believe in “practice makes a man perfect”, but that “PRECISE practice makes a man perfect”. You will never improve your score if you mindlessly practice all the modules. I believe that you can’t improve what you cannot measure. So, my approach to all modules is the same: quantify and improve.
When you become ruthlessly honest with yourself, your score goes up.
Failing to plan is planning to fail
Planning is one of the most crucial and underappreciated aspects of the IELTS exam. When you analyze your strength and weakness and meticulously plan your exam preparation, you almost become sure about your result.
You get a chance to identify your weaknesses and work on improving them. But, on the other hand, you can also understand how you can bank on your strengths. When you plan every aspect of your exam, an unforeseen clarity emerges. This equips the student with tremendous confidence to excel at the exam on the first attempt.
Benchmarking with the best
The billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson said, “If you aim higher than you expect, you could reach higher than you dreamed”.
When you practice for eight bands while your requirement is seven, the chances are you end up scoring the desired bands. When you push your limit, your limits expand. I push my students to aim for the sky and work hard to achieve their goals. To facilitate the process, I provide them with the best study material and guidance.
Learning from experienced faculty
Experience is the best teacher, and teachers with a prolonged experience in an industry are difficult to find. However, when you find them, you must grab the opportunity to learn from them as they know in and out of an industry.
In my sixteen years of experience, I have learnt various tactics and strategies that work wonders every single time. Apart from my skill set, it is this first-hand experience of the IELTS exam that I am passing to my students. So, when they appear for the exam, it does not surprise or dreads them. As a result, even under pressure, my students can give their best shot.
Acquaint you with English-speaking culture
I have lived, studied, and worked in predominantly English-speaking cities- Sydney and Melbourne, almost for a decade. Having lived in these cosmopolitan cities, I am painfully aware of the pitfalls that non-native English speakers fall into. For example, have you ever said, ‘I saw a dream instead of ‘I had a dream? See, this is what happens when you translate sentences from your native language to English.
I understand this thought process very well, and I have found innovative ways to teach my students to think like native English speakers. I use the IELTS exam as a springboard and improve their communication skills.
Exposure to cross-training
Cross-training yields accelerated learning and widen one’s perspective. World-class Olympic athletes and sports persons cross-train before major tournaments and games to learn from others. It also motivates them to work harder. I always gently nudge my students to explore the options of cross-training so that they know exactly where they stand in the game.
Pre-exam preparation and peak performance state
How you prepare just before the exam is critically important. There are things you must do in the morning on exam day. I will help you learn how to put yourself in the peak performance state, so your exam performance improves drastically. The module also covers Re-evaluating last-minute strategies.
