Success isn't or has never been or will be a quick fix.
We've been bamboozled for too long. There is no magic bullet, secret formula, or quick fix. You don't make Rs. 200,000 a year spending two hours a day on the Internet, lose 30 pounds in a week, fix your love life with a pill, or find lasting success with any other scheme that is too good to be true.
“Slow and steady wins the race” I'm the world's biggest believer in consistency.
It doesn't matter how smart you are or aren't, you need to make up in hard work what you lack in experience, skill, intelligence, or innate ability. If your competitor is smarter, more talented, or experienced you just need to work three or four times as hard. Work harder, work smarter. You can still beat them.

How to Eighth Wonder (Compounding) Works
When you understand how the Eighth Wonder principle works, you won't pine for quick fixes or silver bullets. Don't try to fool yourself into believing that a mega-successful athlete didn't live through regular bone-crushing drills and thousands of hours of practice. He got up early to practice—and kept practicing long after all others had stopped. He faced the sheer agony and frustration of the failure, loneliness, hard work, and disappointment it took to become No. 1.
The Eighth wonder is the principle of reaping huge rewards from a series of small, smart choices. What's most interesting about this process to me is that, even though the results are massive, the steps, in the moment, don't feel significant. Whether you're using this strategy for improving your health, relationships, finances, or anything else for that matter, the changes are so subtle they're almost imperceptible.
Foundational Node
Choice
We all come into this world the same: naked, scared, and ignorant. After that grand entrance, the life we end up with is simply an accumulation of all the choices we made. Our choices can be our best friend or our worst enemy.
Think about it. Everything in your life exists because you first made a choice about something. Choices are at the root of every one of your results. Each choice starts a behavior that over time becomes a habit.

Habit
“Virtues are formed in man by his doing the actions,” Aristotle said.
“We are what we repeatedly do… therefore excellence is not an act, but a habit.” Will Durant
Perhaps the most important discovery in the fields of psychology and success is that fully 95% of everything that you think, feel, do and achieve is the result of habit. Beginning in childhood, you have developed a series of conditioned responses that lead you to react automatically and unthinkingly in almost every situation.
Excellence isn't this thing you do one time. It's a way of living. It's foundational. It's like an operating system and the code this system operates on is habit. If you want to be or do something, Epictetus said, make a habit of it. So, let's make a habit of excellence.
“Chains of habit are too light to be felt until they are too heavy to be broken.”
— Warren Buffett“My wealth has come from a combination of living in America, some lucky genes, and compound interest.” — Warren Buffett.
